About the Academy

The Academia de Verano (Summer Academy) is an intensive three-week experience where students ages 12-18 learn 21st century skills through engaging, project-based courses. By placing students at the center of their learning, the Academia de Verano develops key cognitive and socioemotional skills proven to make a difference in their academic achievement. Each year, hundreds of students come to make friends and discover new interests. They leave with memories and life skills that will serve them far beyond the summer. The Academia de Verano serves as Consejo de Curso’s innovation lab, where we try out new interdisciplinary course concepts, perfect methodologies, and develop tools to propel classroom innovation.
